Our story started on the Bellamy family farm at Longford, Tasmania. As an escape from the pressure of co-founding the Bellamy’s Organic baby food business, Dooley started growing and blending her own rejuvenating organic teas. Her work with Bellamy’s Organic took her around the world where she discovered new tea blends and studied the art of creating her own. In 2015 she took her notebook full of ideas and recipes and used them to create the Storm + India organic tea brand – named after her two daughters, Storm and India Bellamy.

Today, this family business is going from strength to strength, managed day-to-day by Dooley and India in her role as Tea Manager and Drink Creator. Our success has come from a deep understanding of our customer base. They may love beautifully designed and presented things, but they’re increasingly curious about the story behind the brands they support and the ingredients in the products they buy. Being a family run, local business with sustainability at the heart of everything we do has truly resonated.

From our head office in Longford, complete with blending and tasting rooms, we’ll connect with cafes, restaurants, retailers, boutiques and day spas across Tasmania and the rest of Australia. And we’ll continue to create new and exciting tea blends from the Bellamy family farm in Longford where we’ll grow our own organic botanicals.
